If you are getting married next Spring (or even sooner) then as one of the many items you need to plan for is the acquisition of bridesmaid gifts. And of course, if you are like me, you’ll want to get some really unique bridesmaid gifts for your gals. Ideas are many and the only limiting factors are your imagination and your budget.
One idea I heard of recently that I truly liked is to get each of your bridesmaid a reasonably priced monogrammed or personalized cosmetic bag or case and place in it a $20 gift certificate to Sephora or other make up shop. A somewhat pricier variant of this idea is to get your gals some embroidered robes and/or personalized tote bag and include in it an invitation to a spa day you’ve already set up and paid for. Your gals will love it!
In a totally different vein, consider matching bracelets or necklaces. You can get these jewelry items personalized and these will become highly treasured keepsakes they’ll wear again and again and think of you every time their wear it. So as you can see, there are many unique bridesmaid gift options, just use your imagination and have fun!

And if you have grandkids, the endless cozy hours as they sit on your lap and marvel at Grandma’s pretty charms!

I’ve always been a big fan of killing two birds with one stone. It’s probably not the nicest way to talk about gifts, but that’s really a matter of perspective. Maybe it would be better if I talked more about the concept of a gift that keeps on giving. This has become something of a rather hackneyed phrase over the last few years. I’m not sure which advertiser first grabbed onto it and started the slow process of beating the phrase to death, but I’m pretty sure it will continue. Never the less, there really are gifts that keep on giving and one great example is a Japanese Flowering Cherry Bonsai Tree (prunus serrulata).
