I love using CorningWare and have for many years. As a matter of fact, i think nearly everyone in my family has some CorningWare in their kitchen. My one sister has a few casseroles that she’s had since she got married and my other sister has a set of dishes I gave her when she moved into her first place. I’m pretty sure my brother and his wife even have a few of the French White serving pieces too. I broke one of my favorite pieces recently so I went shopping for some new kitchenware. I found this great CorningWare 10 Piece Ceramic Cookware Set.

This CorningWare Cookware Set comes in the Simply White pattern that goes with everything. It includes two covered casserole dishes, a two quart covered rectangular dish, plus a nine inch pie plate, two ramekins and a handy serving cradle for the large casserole dish. This type of CorningWare is more lightweight than the heavier stoneware pieces, so it’s really easy to handle even when the dishes are full. And you can use the pans in the oven or the microwave then just toss the dishes into the dishwasher when you’re finished. Perfect for storing your food in the fridge too.

We don’t eat out often, especially at expensive restaurants these days. So when we do treat ourselves to a really special dinner out, I savor every bit of the evening. I enjoy the sights and smells of a good restaurant. Most of all, I love sitting down at a nice table and eating a delicious meal that I didn’t have to cook myself. And no table clear, no dishes to wash. Lovely! After dinner I like to pick a wonderful sinful dessert I don’t often eat and a rich, hot cup of espresso. Since we don’t eat out often, I rarely drink espresso. But not anymore since I received De’Longhi Pump-Driven Espresso Cappuccino Maker for my birthday!

Not only does this fantastic machine make the perfect cup of espresso and cappuccino, but it’s retro style looks very sharp in my kitchen. It has wonderful features too, like 2 separate thermostats for water and steam, an anti-drip design, and easy-to-use control knob, and a durable stainless steel boiler that will last for years. It even allows enough space to place a large mug on the tray so I can make an extra-big cup of cappuccino if I feel like it. I absolutely love this awesome machine, it’s the perfect professional coffee machine for any serious coffee-lover.

On a steamy summer day, you can’t beat a tall frosty glass of lemonade to perk you up and cool you down. I keep a pitcher of Honey Mint Lemonade on hand in my refrigerator, so my family can pour a glass whenever they come in from out in the sun. The mint adds a real nice touch to this classic lemonade recipe and gives it a more festive flare. The somewhat more grown-up appeal of this lemonade also makes it perfect for pool-side parties, wedding showers, or other gatherings. Remember to include a fresh sprig of mint in the glass to really make this lemonade extraordinary.

If I’m hosting a baby shower, wedding shower, birthday party, or just an afternoon around the pool, I want to serve a beverage that’s special. I’m not going to open up a bunch of bottles of cola or make a drink filled with sugar, especially for my lady friends! Budgeting money for snacks and drinks for a party can get a little scary, but armed with my cheap beverage recipes I can always create gorgeous and satisfying drinks without destroying my finances.

We’ve always had CorningWare dishes in my family for as far back as I can remember. My mom always had a few CorningWare pieces and she used them constantly. Over the years they’d get a few chips in them here and there from us accidentally dropping them or a minor incident when we were washing them. But they kept on going strong for many years of great use long after. Then when my sister got engaged years ago our aunt gave her a great starter set of CorningWare at her bridal shower that she still loves and uses to this day. When it came my time to stock up on kitchenware for my home, I knew I’d be including a CorningWare Ceramic Bakeware Set in the mix.

I chose to get a big 17 piece set because I knew I’d get a lot of use out of these versatile dishes. The set came in the contemporary French White style and has all of the pieces I could possible need. They’re made of a durable stoneware material designed for use in the oven and microwave, plus you can use it for serveware and then store the leftovers in the refrigerator or freezer too. I definitely made a the right choice when I bought this classic ceramic bakeware.

We do a lot of baking at this time of year, especially near the holidays. Sometimes we enjoy making something simple like a rich, creamy pound cake to serve warm with some ice cream on top for dessert. Or we treat ourselves to a delicious banana nut loaf with cream cheese spread. For the holidays, the kids can’t get enough of our favorite 4-layer dessert that includes pecans, cream cheese, and pudding – absolutely scrumptious. There are lots of different pans you can make the dessert in, but our preferred bakeware by far is our Kaiser springform loaf pan.

This is one amazing pan. Being a springform pan, it’s so easy to simply open up the buckle and remove the sides to reveal the perfect layered dessert. If we make a loaf cake in it, we can just take of the sides and cut it right in the pan because the finish is cut resistant. Made of commercial-weight steel, this is one sturdy pan. And the buckle comes with a lifetime warranty. It is definitely one of the baking pans we use most in our kitchen.
