When I decided to upgrade my broadband connection, I found a great resource that offered a side by side comparison of internet service providers in my area. I found out that DSL providers are currently offering several different speeds, along with gift card offers, free modems and WiFi, and other incentives like no term commitments. Then I could check out what cable providers were offering, and see which delivery mode and package made sense for my needs. It was great to compare the different companies side by side to see how they stacked up against each other.

As the market continues to expand and evolve, DSL providers are stepping up to the plate with great online deals. With cable not being the only game in town anymore, choice and competition make now a great time to shop for internet service. Two of the top providers have some great offers and incentives. AT&T offers their basic DSL for $19.95 a month; Verizon’s starter plan is the same price at $19.99 a month. Verizon offers first month free plus free modem. AT&T offers online security suite and no term commitments.
